Getting into the swing of things. Still have a lot of boxes to unpack while there's still not much in terms of furniture. The latter is being solved as we are expecting a shipment of several things tomorrow furniture-wise. Then we talk to the decorator again a few days after that. Other than that, I've been playing around with automation plus going to the gym with Hunter and doing a yoga class as well. We went to Moksha for dinner and other than that, it's been the cheaper places, and this last weekend, we went to see Cirque du Soleil's Alegria. We did finish as 24 lectures course on neurology which was pretty good (at least from my perspective). Oh, and we got our Florida drivers licenses!

I guess I can safely say I have not accomplished a lot in the last couple of weeks. I was out of town in Texas for half of that. While there, we did the Xmas thing with family on Xmas eve and day including gifts, we had a pizza night and a poker night and a lot of drinking! Before Hunter and I went, we of course did a lot of shopping. Since we've been back, we still continue to move in and I'm working with tradespeople to get things working like an automation installer (two days of work so far) and an electrician. I've also been trying to get automation back up while modernizing it at the same time.

I guess the big theme is that we're still moving in! Seems like forever! Over the last few weeks, still unpacking and trying to find places for things, had handyman do a few bits, using a designer to decorate (since we're not using much of our furniture) and gave away the old furniture to a breast cancer charity. Hunter and I are also doing a few fun bits having gone to Rosies, a Thai restaurant and even Olive Garden (sorry to say) over the last few weeks. Went to Infinity Lounge for a drink, went to a party at Island City where the decorator is from and had dinner with the real estate team at Dune. That's about it I guess. Leaving for Texas for Xmas tomorrow.... Oh, and Trump was impeached!

Wow, it's been about month since I last blogged so there is much to report. The main thing of course is, I bought a house and it closed. I'm now officially, 100% in Florida. I also bought a car since my last 2 cars were pretty old and I also didn't want to move them across the country. At this point, all of our stuff has arrived and unloaded from the various "pods" although not everything is put away. I have WAY too much stuff. I'll be giving away a bunch more and trashing stuff as well! Since almost none of my old furniture will not be used in the new house -- it was either never moved or will be given away -- we've been in the process of furniture shopping. We got stuck and so I've enlisted a decorator to help. I've been trying to figure out all the systems (a lot of automation surprisingly!) and enlisting service people to maintain the pool, yard, and a handyman. It hasn't all been work in that we've been to the beach a couple of times (including yesterday), we went to an NPC show in Miami like last weekend, went to both a boat show and car show, and saw a swim meet at FAU. For Hunter's birthday, we had pizza and did spa treatments. I saw Anderson Cooper in conversation. And of course, we've eaten out a lot and been to the gym a few times! It's very, very active!
